Abstract

An inadequate width of attached gingiva could result in a poor plaque control by the patient and facilitate the progression of periodontitis result in increased loss of attachment. Several treatment options are available, among them, the free mucosal graft is associated with predictable results. The aim of this report was to present a series of cases where free mucosal graft procedure was used to increase the width of the attached gingiva.
