Thus, the differential diagnosis of this clinical dilemma is of utmost importance in providing definitive treatment. Misdiagnosis of such condition may result in unnecessary treatments attributing to patient agony. For this reason, a dental origin must always be considered for any cutaneous lesion on the face or neck. Once the correct diagnosis is made, appropriate treatment, either through tooth extraction or endodontic therapy to eliminate the source of infection, is simple and effective. ER -
